Random Arcanists

Here are some random Arcanists that I have thrown paint on.

The Mech Rider will get its rider attached once I find a replacement for the broken spear, that thing was super thin. Kaeris' totem got painted just cause he was sitting around while I had some paints out. Her crew will get some paint loving at some stage in the near future.

The Arcance Effigy has been awesome and is used in a lot of my games, I love that little guy lol.

Joss was a no brainer and I wanted to give him the typical OZ meathead look so painted him a greenish yellowish blue blend rather than straight bluey like the rest of my Arcanists and he got a blonde mowhawk too. He got the standard purple accent treatment to tie him in with his buddies though.

The Raptors are pretty much done but one will be based like the rest of my Marcus crew once that get started hence the black blank base on one of them.

The Metal Gamin and Soulstone Miners are generically based with cobblestones similar to Ironsides crew to hopefully fit in any crew they end up with.

Not sure what I'll paint next but I'm thinking of either finishing the Kaeris crew box or smashing out Ramos and his mechanical contraptions. Till then, laters....

Mei Feng and her rail crew

Mei Feng and her rail crew have been painted but the only model fully based as yet is Mei Feng herself. They all need another dose of highlights but will probably just end up getting based and noted as done.

Not super happy with the Rail Golem furnace and want to redo it in a darker red but will revisit that once all the Arcanists are finished. Will also probably redo the exhaust tips on him. Till then, take a look at these....

As mentioned earlier it's been months since I've had internet access and any fixed abode to do any painting but now I have a house and Internet acces I'm back. Managed to pull out my models and snap off a few pictures of the models I've painted over the last six or seven months. I'm splitting this post into a couple of posts as its unwieldy to post this on my iPad and my laptop is as yet still unpacked and in boxes.

While I had wanted to to paint Angelica she has sadly only been base coated to date. Here is a picture of her with two of the three Union Miners that are also only in the base coat stage. The third miner is at a friends house as they have been using it, I'll have to get it back and finish of that trio soon I think.

As a bit of a break from Arcanists I also started to paint a couple of Canine Remains which while technically Ressers they will be part of my Marcus crew when I get him underway. At this stage they are painted but unbased as I haven't fully decided on the base style I'll use for Marcus. Here they are...

I'm back in Internet land at last...

It's been a huge life changing six or seven months just gone but I'm back in Internet land and have got a chance to start posting again.

Mid last year I changed jobs and then around six months ago I changed jobs again. The second job change also meant a change of city where I lived. All was good except for the fact that I was living out of boxes and in temporary accomodation up until about six weeks ago. The temporary accomodation had no internet access and all my things where packed in boxes. During that time I did pull out a couple of models and managed to get some paint on them but with no internet there was no posting.  Another struggle I had was finding people in my new city that played malifaux so no many games were had either.

Now I have moved into a new house with my fiancé and have found a couple of semi regular opponents to game with and things are on the up. I will try and get some pictures taken of my progress and do an update on it all soon but the long and short of it all is...I'm back in Internet land in a new city and are keen to grow the malifaux community here so are taking steps towards doing that...stay tuned, more to follow soon.
