September 2018 through January 2019

And yet again my posts have slipped way behind. I have been painting a bit but not as much as I would of liked, what with work and real life getting in the way and all. So this post is going to be an accumulation the last few months work......


September 2018
A convict Gunslinger and Bishop are a couple of M2E mercenaries that have been sitting around to long so they had a quick splash. Also pretty sure it was September I finished the Cross Road Seven.

October 2018
A very slow month for me this month only finishing Amina Nadu for my Malifaux painting. I really like the colour her shirt and jeans came out so will utilise these colours more on other models in the faction as well as the purple I use to tie my Arcanisits together. Next month I plan to get some of my terrain completely finished. Since the roofs have been done for months, I need to finish the buildings.

November 2018
Finished my 5x terrain pieces that form the basis of my Frontier/Western Style town for Malifaux and got a start on the base coats of Fitzsimmons and the two Saboteurs. They will be next months task but for November its just the buildings

December 2018
Epic Fail...Had a family Christmas organised for my partners family who all met at a batch in the Coromandle and that meant no painting on my days off. zero models completed in December



January 2019
Fitsimmons and the 2x Sabotuers where the items finished this month.

Next month, well this month, February, I am planning on getting Neil Henry painted and the finishing touches on my Warhammer Underworlds crew, the Chosen Axes. see you again soon.

July and August work in progress

Seems I didn't post an update for July and it's now two weeks almost into August...whoops. July saw the completion of my Ice Dancers finally and My Through The Breach augmented character.

August has so far seen my Hoar Cats get some colour and a start made on a Crossroads Seven crew I managed to get from a mate. While the Crossroads Seven is not the most game worthy, they are a crew I have wanted for a long time so picking them up has renewed my energy to get something painted. Here's hoping I can finish these off this month too, but for now it's pics of the Ice Dancers, my Fated character, the Hoar Cats and a progress shot of the Seven.....

June work in progress

this month I moved away from the ice dancers yet again and finished Anna Lovelace and the Scorpius. Next month will be the ice dancers as I've made a start on them at least. Anyways, here's the images for this month

Carlos was all I could finish this month. The ice dancers got assembled and primed but that's as far as they got. Hopefully they can get finished next month.

Carlos in my mind was going to just get flames, but then I needed to tie him into the purple of the rest of my Arcanists so his flames were all purple at first. Looked OK when done but added the transition to flames just to show fire and it looked better to me so left it there. Put a bit of a scorch on the floorboards by the tips as well.

For some reason I am unable to upload images into the monthly painting challenge thread on the Wyrd forums so I'll put my WIP shots for April up here in the mean time.

Who knows, it may even tempt me to post updates here more often lol

It may have been a while but I have been painting...we'll sort of. I haven't done much but have painted a bit and I have also joined in the wyrd forums monthly painting challenge to help motivate my past ting. So far it's worked and I'll update this blog at the same time I post there. Well, enough babble, time to go paint......back soon
